The number of applications received for the £5,000 surrender grant to the end of March 1986 was 6,322.
The total value of £2,000 new house grants paid in 1985 in respect of dwellings in County Cork was £202,000. Information requested in relation to the mortgage subsidy is not readily available in my Department on a county basis.
