I have had extensive consultations with relevant parties, including the National Youth Council of Ireland, on the establishment of a bureau for the promotion and development of educational exchanges and visits. I have recently approved a grant of £30,000 for a Youth Exchange Bureau to be established by an interim management board under the auspices of the National Youth Council of Ireland.
