I propose to take Questions Nos. 77 to 81 inclusive, together.

Design work on a drainage scheme for the Mulcair catchment was suspended in February 1983 at which time some 80 per cent for both major and minor tributaries had been completed. Immediately following the Government decision in late August, 1986, the balance of the design process was put in hands and it is expected that a preliminary design will be ready in about two years. It is not possible to state how far advanced the design work on the Mulcair might have been had the suspension of planning not occured, or to say when a scheme of drainage works might be undertaken.
