Vol. 369 No. 5

Written Answers. - Ewe Subsidy.

141.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid a ewe subsidy.

The person named is a first-time applicant under the disadvantaged area schemes and cannot be considered for payment of sheep or cattle headage until, as requested by my Department, he provides proof of ownership of lands in the designated areas.

He has already been paid EC ewe premium grants which are payable to flock owners in all areas.
