Vol. 369 No. 5

Written Answers. - Headage Payments.

142.

Mr. Cowen

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will ensure that inspections are carried out so that persons can qualify for headage payments for the current year.

Some 95% of headage inspections in respect of applicants who qualify under the 1986 disadvantaged areas schemes are now completed and the remaining inspections should be completed in about a fortnight's time.
