Vol. 369 No. 6

Written Answers. - Sale of Local Authority Flats.

55.

asked the Minister for the Environment the progress, if any, which has been made by the working party on the sale of local authority flats; if he will indicate the findings of this body; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The working party, which was set up last year comprising representatives of local authorities and my Department, has examined ways of resolving the difficulties which have so far prevented the sale of flats. They are awaiting the results of a survey of tenants of Dublin Corporation flats and when received will then be able to present their report.
