Vol. 369 No. 11

Written Answers. - Boyne Drainage Scheme.

123.

asked the Minister for Finance when compensation in respect of arterial drainage under the Boyne drainage scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath who has claimed in respect of lost earnings and the cost of erecting fencing; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This claim for compensation is being examined by the Commissioners of Public Works in accordance with the provisions of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. When the Commissioners' investigations have been completed, negotiations will be entered into and payment of compensation made when agreement has been reached with the parties concerned.
