The person named will be paid his 1986 beef cow scheme grants when the batches which include his payments are processed. He will be paid calf premium scheme grants after payments under that scheme start in mid-December — those payments cannot commence until then because all calves presented under the scheme will not have reached six months until 15 December.
An assessment will be done as soon as possible to see if the applicant's on-farm earnings equal or exceed his off-farm earnings to establish whether or not he is eligible for 1986 suckler cow scheme payments.
