Vol. 370 No. 2

Written Answers. - Anti-Vandal Fencing.

100.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason the Office of Public Works has failed to reply to three letters from Dublin Corporation requestiong approval to put anti-vandal fencing on the wall between the Department of Education at Marlborough Street and the rear of 28-35 Champion's Avenue, a new inner city housing scheme, Dublin 1; and if he will expedite the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works have so far received no correspondence from Dublin Corporation requesting approval to put anti-vandal fencing on the boundary wall between the Department of Education at Marlborough Street and the corporation's new inner city housing development. The commissioners have invited tenders for this work, and a contract will be placed shortly, subject to the corporation's concurrence from the planning point of view.
