Note regarding customs documentation processed at land-frontier stations.
(a)Information regarding the number of export transactions processed are available only for the years after 1978.
(b)On 1 January 1985, the Revenue Commissioners introduced a statistical threshold of £100 in trade statistics from which the details on the above tabular statement have been extracted. Accordingly, the 1985 figures do not include details of transactions less than £100 in value which, although processed for Customs purposes were excluded for the trade statistics, with the exception of transactions relating to exports subject to charges.
(c)For the year 1979 details of the transactions processed at Carriagans Road Station and Swanlinbar Road Station are not available as these figures were included in the 1979 figures for Bridgend and Clones respectively.
