(i) The remaining members are elected from representatives of milk producers, retailers and wholesalers.
(ii) The members of the Council of An Foras Talúntais are appointed by the Government and the Chairman by the President.
(iii) Although the Pigs and Bacon Commission ceased trading in 1982, the board still meets to finalise outstanding financial matters. It is expected that the Commission will be formally wound up in 1987.
