Five United States military aircraft, details of which follow, were given permission to pass through Irish-controlled airspace between 10 and 16 April, 1986:
Date Permission Given |
Aircraft Type |
3.4.1986 |
C-135 |
3.4.1986 |
C-137 |
9.4.1986 (twice) |
UP-3A |
11.4.1986 |

The routes taken were normal designated routes. I am satisfied that, in accordance with Irish regulations, the aircraft were unarmed and the flights did not form part of any military exercise or operation.
