asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to the proposed extension and provision of extra facilities at Ballymore Eustace primary school, County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The present position with regard to the proposed extension and provision of extra facilities at Ballymore Eustace primary school, County Kildare, is that following discussions between the school authorities, consultants and my Department's professional officers, the submission to my Department of revised working drawings for the project is awaited.

asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to the provision of extension at Castledermot primary school, County Kildare.

The present position with regard to the proposed extension to Castledermot primary school, County Kildare is that arrangements for the preparation of working drawings for the project are in the hands of my Department's professional advisers.

asked the Minister for Education her intentions with regard to the co-educational post-primary school, Kilcock, County Kildare; whether it is envisaged that work on the project is likely to commence in the near future; and the possible time schedule for the provision of these facilities.

The working drawings for the project are currently being examined in my Department. It is not possible at this stage to say when construction will begin or when the project will be completed. The rate at which all capital projects can proceed will be subject to review in the context of the capital resources available.

asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to the proposed extension to St. Wolstan's Holy Faith post-primary school, Celbridge, County Kildare; and the likely time scale and future planning stages to be undergone before the project goes to tender.

(1) The developed sketch scheme (stage 3) is presently being examined in my Department; (2) It is not possible at this stage to indicate when construction will begin; (3) The further stages of architectural planning to be completed, before tender action, are as follows: Stage 4 working drawings, Stage 5 bills of quantities; (4) In order to determine when planning can proceed further, through the issue of authorisation to the school authority to prepare and submit working drawings, this project must be reviewed in the context of capital resources available.

asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to an extension to Rathcoffey primary school, County Kildare.

My Department have agreed in principle to grant-aid an extension to Rathcoffey national school, County Kildare.

The Chief State Solicitor on my Department's behalf is in correspondence with the solicitor for the school authorities regarding title to the required site extension. When a good title to the site has been established, my Department will formally sanction a grant for the project which will then proceed to the preparation of tender documentation.
