Vol. 371 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Wexford Ambulance Station.

82.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the poor condition of the ambulance station at Wexford General Hospital, County Wexford; whether funds have been allocated to refurbish this station; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance. The board have informed me that they accept that improved accommodation for the ambulance station at Wexford General Hospital is necessary. However, this is only one item among many other competing demands which the board is considering in the light of the financial resources available.
