asked the Minister for the Environment if a house improvement grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who entered into commitments with builders and architects but did not receive approval or an inspection before 27 March 1987.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

79.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where all works have been completed and passed.

The grant will be paid within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a house improvement grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

There has been no undue delay. The grant will be paid in the next few weeks.

81.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will confirm that a grant for doors and windows installation will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 whose house was inspected by the Department's inspector, and who received an approval for a £450 grant but does not wish to commence the work because of recent announcements which have caused confusion.

A grant has been approved but notification has not been received that work has been completed.
