Vol. 372 No. 3

Written Answers. - Development of Dublin Hospital.

33.

asked the Minister for Health when it is intended to provide the long promised maternity and paediatric services in the James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

The planning brief for the development of the hospital is with my Department at present. I am considering in the context of the capital allocation of my Department when this project can proceed to the next stage of planning (i.e., preparation of a development control plan) and onwards from that point to complete re-development in accordance with the planning brief which has been prepared. In the absence of a development control plan it is impossible for my Department to outline in detail the precise time or nature of the phasing for the development.
