Vol. 372 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Donegal School.

110.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new school at Keelogues, County Donegal; if she will give details of accommodation being provided; and when it is hoped the project will go to tender.

The Deputy is understood to refer to the proposed new national school for Keelogues, County Donegal. The present position is that tender documentation for the project has been prepared. Because, however, of the extent to which my Department's 1987 allocation of capital for the national school building programme has been committed prior to my assuming office, I am not at present in a position to authorise the invitation of tenders for the project. The proposal in this case is to grant-aid a new three-classroom school with a general purposes area.
