asked the Minister for Finance in respect of the retention tax on professional fees, the proportion of the £25 million estimated yield attributable to fees payable to (a) engineers, (b) surveyors, (c) architects, (d) doctors and surgeons, (e) dentists, (f) solicitors, (g) barristers, (h) veterinary surgeons, (i) valuers and auctioneers and (j) other professions.

The estimated 1987 yield of £25 million for the withholding tax on professional fees is broken down in the following table which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
