Vol. 372 No. 13

Written Answers. - Refurbishment of Cloverhill Estate (Dublin).

148.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Dublin Corporation for funds for the reroofing, rewalling and refurbishment of houses and other aspects of the Estate at Cloverhill, Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10; the amount sought in any such application; if funds will be made available to allow work to commence this summer; and if he will give an estimate of when the entire estate is likely to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A proposal from Dublin Corporation under the remedial works scheme for the reroofing of houses at Cloverhill Estate at an estimated cost of £668,000, was approved in principle on 14 August 1985, subject to the submission of necessary technical documentation. I understand that the corporation are now formulating a revised proposal incorporating additional works. Following the receipt and examination of the revised proposal, a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the corporation.
