asked the Minister for the Environment the number of house improvement grant applications which were approved for County Kerry; and the number paid to date.

Up to end April 1987 about 4,900 applications had been approved including cases covered by the special dispensation from prior inspection and about 900 of these had been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Wexford; the level of grant which will be paid in this case; and if he will expedite the matter.

Grants amounting to £3,467 have been paid. The amount relates to the estimated cost of works done subject to the specified maximum amount for the different categories of works.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

Approval of a grant must await receipt of certain documentation requested from the applicant.

54.

asked the Minister for the Environment if payment of a house improvement grant will be made as a matter of urgency to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, where work was completed, inspected and approved on 3 March 1987; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named. However, there is an application from a person with the same name and a somewhat similar address. In that case the grant will be paid as soon as possible.

55.

asked the Minister for the Environment the details and rate of grant approved for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the preliminary inspection was carried out.

Approval of a grant must await receipt of certain documentation requested from the applicant.
