Written Answers. - State Bodies Bad Debts.

57.

asked the Minister for Justice the size of the provision for bad and doubtful debts made on the accounts of each State body or agency under his control in their most recent annual accounts and in the equivalent accounts for 1982.

The Legal Aid Board is the only State body or agency coming under my control. The most recent annual accounts for the Legal Aid Board are the draft unaudited accounts for 1985 which were published in the board's annual report for 1985.

A total provision of £2,848 for bad and doubtful debts was included in the board's accounts for 1985. A total provision of £13,640 for bad and doubtful debts was included in the 1982 accounts.
