Vol. 373 No. 3

Written Answers. - Patient Statistics.

88.

asked the Minister for Health the number of private out-patients and in-patients treated in Cork Regional Hospital for each day of 1986; the number of public out-patients and public in-patients for that same period; the number of X-ray and pathology tests provided for private patients in Cork Regional Hospital for 1986; and the number of such tests carried out outside of normal working hours.

In respect of 1986 the total number of in-patients treated at Cork Regional Hospital was 26,958 and the total number of out-patient attendances was 91,900. This hospital does not have a full record of activity in respect of private patients and it is not therefore possible to provide the information requested by the Deputy.
