Vol. 373 No. 8

Written Answers. - Dental Treatment.

217.

asked the Minister for Health when a rebate for dental treatment will be paid in a case (details supplied) in County Dublin.

The person concerned, who is a medical card holder, did not seek authorisation from the Eastern Health Board before obtaining dental treatment. The Eastern Health Board, in common with the other health boards, does not make refunds to medical card holders who obtain treatment without its prior authorisation.
