Vol. 373 No. 8

Written Answers. - IDA Walk-In Information Centre.

94.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of new users of the IDA's walk-in information centre in Mount Street, Dublin 2 in each month since its initiation, the annual cost of the centre; and the number of full time staff involved.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the walk-in information centre, which is now located in Wilton Park House, deals with an average of 720 personal callers per month as well as a considerable number of telephone calls. This figure relates to the period since the end of 1985 as records are not available prior to that date.

The annual cost of running the centre is estimated at £36,600. The centre is serviced by the equivalent of one full time executive.
