The information available in my Department indicates that computers are in operation in the administrative offices of 36 vocational education committees. ]The number of those committees who have computerised payroll systems is not available at present in my Department.
Applications from ten VECs for updating and developing their computer facilities are being considered by the Department having regard to co-ordination and compatibility of systems and to financial constraints.
