No funds will be provided by my Department for the extension of Blacksod pier, Ballina, County Mayo, this year as all the funds available for fishery harbour works in the current year are fully committed. My Department has however offered Mayo County Council a 75 per cent grant towards the provision of navigation and working lights at the pier.
