The proposed improvement scheme at Port na Blagh, County Donegal consists of (a) the provision of a breakwater and mid-tide landing stage; and (b) the resurfacing of the pier-deck and the provision of mooring rings. The total cost of the scheme is estimated at £177,000. Due to financial constraints, however, the scheme has not been included in the 1987 programme and will have to be considered in the context of the future allocation of funds for harbour development.
