I assume the Deputy is referring to Stage II of this scheme in respect of which Tralee UDC submitted a tender to my Department for approval. While the technical aspects of the scheme are generally acceptable, the capital provided this year for the local authority housing construction programme has already been fully allocated to meet expenditure on schemes in progress or already approved. Accordingly it is not possible to issue sanction in 1987 for the commencement of the schemes referred to or any future similar schemes.
