Subject to the usual rules and procedures being compiled with, provision was made in the current financial year for placing a contract for the building of a new girls' national school in Listowel, County Kerry. Because of a fall in enrolments at the school, it was found necessary to revise the scheme and the revision has not yet been completed. I am not, accordingly, in a position to say when the building of the project is likely to commence.
