It is a condition of application for assistance from EC funds for infrastructural projects that the project is already being financed by the Exchequer.
In reply to a question on 24 June 1987 I informed the Deputy that because of the very substantial cost involved, the limited funds available to me would not permit work being carried out at Dingle Harbour in the near future. The position has not changed in the meantime.
