Vol. 374 No. 9

Written Answers. - Coastal Watch Scheme.

125.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for the Marine the plans, if any, there are to establish a coastal watch scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am conducting a review of the search and rescue services of the State. I have received representations calling for the establishment of a coastal watch scheme. I am having that option examined at present.
