asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the new house grant and mortgage subsidy application of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A new house grant and mortgage subsidy cannot be allowed as, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the applicant has not occupied the house on completion as his normal place of residence.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the new house grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Approval for a £2,250 grant has issued and payment will be made to the builder of the house in two equal instalments, in due course.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The £2,000 new house grant and the first instalment (£1,125) of the £2,250 "builders" grant have been paid.
