During their first three months on such panels, teachers are not obliged to accept posts offered to them. After that, all vacancies must be offered to the panel teachers, and, unless the distance involved is more than 28 miles from their schools, these teachers must accept appointment to such vacancies as a criterion of continued payment of salary.
