My Department have made financial provision for the 1987 pay costs of all authorised staff employed by County Kildare Vocational Education Committee. My Department are precluded under the terms of Government policy on public service staffing from sanctioning the appointment of additional staff by County Kildare VEC.
It is a matter for County Kildare VEC to deploy its staff numbers so as best to meet the needs of the committee's schools, including Confey community college.
