An application under the scheme of grants to voluntary bodies in the social services area has been received from the conference. The bulk of the funds available under the scheme have now been allocated and there are a large number of applications for whom it was not possible to provide assistance. Applications under the scheme are still being considered and it is intended that the remaining funds will be allocated shortly. As soon as a decision is made the conference will be notified.
