Vol. 375 No. 4

Written Answers. - Donaghmede (Dublin) Garda Clinic.

83.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to establish a Garda clinic in the Donaghmede area of Dublin 13; and the reason such a long delay has occurred in providing this promised and much needed Garda service.

84.

asked the Minister for Finance the present position regarding the proposed Garda clinic to be established at the Donaghmede shopping centre, Dublin 13; when it is likely that this long promised facility will open; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 83 and 84 together.

The leasing arrangements in respect of premises for a Garda clinic at Donaghmede, which were somewhat complex and time consuming, have been completed by the Commissioners of Public Works. Fitting out of the premises is in hands and I am assured that the necessary Garda resources are available to enable the clinic to open to the public shortly.
