I propose to take Questions Nos. 133 and 140 together.
Staffing difficulties in the City of Dublin VEC gave rise to the delay in the payment of the training grants to participants on the vocational preparation and training programme. Arising from joint action which I have authorised between my Department and the CDVEC payment of the grant to the person concerned in Question No. 133 will be made on 18 December 1987. Payment of the grant to the person mentioned in Question No. 140 was made on 4 December, 1987.
