asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a grant for a silage slab will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant of £1,039 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The person named will be paid his 1987 cattle headage and special beef premium schemes grants shortly and his grant under the calf premium scheme early in 1988 when the next round of payments under that a scheme is due to commence.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm development scheme grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath.
