In the guidelines recently issued to CTT I requested that CTT should
(a) make determined efforts to address the marketing weakness of our indigenous industries,
(b) become increasingly self-financing and, where companies are subsequently successful as a result of its support, seek a financial share in that success,
(c) develop a closer working relationship with the private sector and give consideration to the possibility of sub-contracting to outside entities in certain situations, and,
(d) in co-operation with other agencies, look at the possibilities for strengthening co-ordination in overseas representation.
As this reply will form part of the official record of the House the Deputy's request in relation to the Dáil Library would seem to be satisfied.
