Written Answers - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a new house grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the documentation submitted in relation to their case.

A £2,250 "builders" grant cannot be allowed as, contrary to a condition of the scheme, construction of the house commenced before 1 October 1986. The applicant has been so informed.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

An inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of the final instalment of a mortgage subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who applied for same in November 1987; and when payment will be made.

The applicant has not submitted a claim form duly completed and certified by the lending agency in respect of the final instalment of the mortgage subsidy.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a final inspection carried out with a view to payment of a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where all works are completed and the Department notified.

On receipt of notification that the house is occupied on a full time basis, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.
