asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department have examined the report by the IIRS into the recurring gas leaks at Offington Manor, Sutton, Dublin 13; and if, given the distress being caused to the residents of this apartment block who have been out of their homes for the past two months he will ask Dublin County Council to have this report published.

My Department have not received a copy of the report to which the Deputy refers. I understand, however, that the recommendations in relation to the apartment blocks in question have been made to the residents concerned. The decision as to whether or not to publish the report is a matter for Dublin County Council, who commissioned it.
