Written Answers. - Dental Services.

95.

asked the Minister for Health the contractual relationship which exists between the Eastern Health Board and the Dental Hospital, Dublin 2 regarding the provision of dental services; and specifically whether services provided by the Dental Hospital to the health board are open to competitive tender by other private agencies.

The Eastern Health Board have made arrangements with the Dental Hospital for the provision of certain routine dental treatment, orthodontic treatment and, recently, for the provision of a limited number of dental prostheses. It would be open to private agencies to tender for the latter services.
