Vol. 378 No. 6

Written Answers. - Robinstown (County Meath) School.

273.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the placing of a tender for the building of an extension to Robinstown national school, County Meath.

It is not clear whether the Deputy refers to a recent application submitted to my Department by the authorities of Robinstown National School, County Meath, for grant-aid towards the cost of building a small extension, or to an earlier application in respect of a scheme whereby the school was to be entirely remodelled and extended. The former is at present being examined by my Department's professional advisers. A decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible. I am, accordingly, not in a position at this stage to make a statement as to when the invitation of tenders may be authorised for the school's building project.
