Limerick West): There is a programme for the replacement of switchboards at military barracks, by the installation of modern systems, as financial resources permit. In the case of Dun Mhig Aoidh, where the present switchboard was installed in 1959, my Department requested Telecom Éireann in April last to provide another switchboard, as an interim measure. Telecom Éireann hope to be in a position to make such a switchboard available shortly.
