Because of the pressure on the capital available to my Department for the national schools building programme, I am not in a position to indicate when it will be possible to authorise the proposed extension to Ballinameela national school, County Waterford, to proceed.
In the meantime, my Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of essential improvements to the schools' existing accommodation.
