Vol. 379 No. 1

Written Answers. - Turbary Lands.

96.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food where turbary lands are in the registered ownership of a farmer and where allotments were made by regulation in 1940 but were not taken up, if the farmers have the right to develop such lands for agricultural purposes.

In view of the legal issues surrounding the grant of turbary rights under Regulation, each case has to be individually examined. If the Deputy has a particular case in mind, I will arrange that he be given the necessary information on request.
