Statistics relating to prosecutions for offences in relation to the taking of mechanically propelled vehicles without authority and for dangerous driving causing death are included in the Garda Commissioner's annual report on crime. Copies of the report for the years up to and including 1986 are available in the Oireachtas Library. The report for 1987 is not yet available.
