Vol. 379 No. 10

Written Answers. - Trade Union Recognition.

46.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is the policy of his Department that firms which refuse to recognise trade unions should qualify for grants or other financial assistance; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information sought by the Deputy relates to the day to day responsibility of the Industrial Development Authority in the implementation of industrial policy. In this connection I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 54 from Deputy Quinn on 21 April 1988.
