Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

73.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a mortgage subsidy; and the reason for the delay in the payment of such subsidies.

The third instalment of the mortgage subsidy has been paid.

74.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a new house grant; and the reason for the delay in the payment of such grants.

There has been no undue delay. Payment of the new house grant will be made as soon as possible.

75.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a mortgage subsidy; and the reason for the delay in the payment of such subsidies.

The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy has been paid.

76.

asked the Minister for the Environment if it is the case that an application for mortgage subsidy in respect of persons (details supplied) in County Meath was received in his Department in December 1987 and is in order for payment since that date; the reason the money has not yet been paid; if any queries have been sent out in respect of the matter; if any other aspects of the matter are outstanding from the point of view of assembling the necessary material for a decision; and when payment of the subsidy will be made.

The claim form was received in the Department on 22 December 1987. The fifth instalment of the subsidy was recently paid to the Housing Finance Agency.
