asked the Minister for the Marine if he will give details of the harbour improvement works to be carried out in 1988.
Written Answers. - Harbour Improvement Problem.
The total allocation in respect of grants towards development works at commerical and fishery harbours in 1988 is £3.1 million. Details of fishery harbour projects proposed for assistance in 1988 are included in a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
Decisions have not yet been taken in regard to the commercial harbours to be grant-aided. The projects being considered are the completion of pier repairs at Fenit, major quay reconstruction at Drogheda, quay repairs at Dundalk and extension of container facilities at Dublin Port.
